One year ago, the show Stars of the Future was setting up in a football playground.

Stephanie, the new presenter of the show, came out with a white dress. “Ladies and gentlemen! Good evening! Welcome to Stars of the Future. Let’s meet the young dancers who want to be famous!” Stephanie stopped for a while. Everyone clapped. “Tonight, three very talented young people will perform for you. During the competition, you can vote for your favorite dancer. In the end, I will announce the winner!” Everyone shouted and clapped again just like thunder. “The first contestant is Ashley.” Said Stephanie. “She is going to perform Latin Dance. If you want her to win, vote for the red one. OK, you can start, Ashley!” Everyone became quiet when Ashley danced. Sometimes she held her head up like a peacock. And sometimes she was as ethereal as waves. She was confident and danced naturally.

Gavin, a reporter from the “Sunshine Tree”, wanted to write an article about people who worked in television. During the break, he went backstage to interview Alan, who was the clothes designer. “How long have you worked as a clothes designer, Alan?” Gavin asked. “For two years.” “Do you like working on this program?” “Yes, I like it. It's fantastic.” “How did you become a clothes designer?” “I studied at design school for four years. Then I started to work in a small shop set up by my father. After one year, I worked in TV.” “What are your plans for your future?” “Well, I love this job very much, but I also want to try to be a building designer or a garden designer. I want to design special and comfortable buildings for people to live in, and relax themselves.” “Is it difficult to do that?” “Of course, you should be imaginative and creative. You should have your own ideas. And your art should be very particular and excellent. Also you should be patient to draw for many hours.” “OK. Thanks, Alan.” “You are welcome!”

Everyone cheered as Stephanie welcomed the next contestant on stage. “Thank you. Ashley! That was great!” Now here's our next contestant, Andy.” “What are you going to dance today, Andy?” Asked Stephanie. “I am going to perform Street Dance.” “Oh, it will be cool. Do you think Andy will be the winner? Vote for the blue one if you want him to win.” Andy turns around, and he stood upside-down. He jumped high and threw his cap. Everyone stood up and danced with him.

Meanwhile, in the backstage, Gavin was talking to a sound engineer, Calandra, about her work. “How long have you worked in TV?” “Since 1999.” “Do you like your job?” “Yes, I do. I need to make the appropriate sound in TV. It is very interesting.” “What do you must be if you are a sound engineer?” “You should be patient, because you should try many times to test the machine. You should be hard working too. Maybe you should test the machine day and night. Oh, the next contestant is starting! I need to control the machine! Bye!” “Bye!”

Stephanie welcomed the last contestant on the stage. “Last, let's give a big hand to Fiorenza. She is going to perform “Dai nationality dance”. If you choose her to be the winner, vote for the yellow one!” Everyone shouted and jumped again. Fiorenza danced beautifully. Her arm is as soft as the wickers. She was like a butterfly flying in the sky. When she finished, everyone clapped. “Thank you. Fiorenza! Now it's the most exciting part of the competition. Finally, I will announce the winner. Ashley, you got 107 points. Andy, you got 98 points. Fiorenza, you got 109 points. So the winner is Fiorenza!” Fiorenza held a gold cup on the stage. “Congratulations, Fiorenza. Do you have something to say?” “Yes, I was very surprised and excited at this moment. Thank you for the encouragement, and I will work harder!” Everyone clapped. “Now it was the ending. Have a good night, everyone. Good Bye!” Said Stephanie. Everyone clapped.

Back to the backstage, Gavin asked Stephanie some questions. “What do you think of the show tonight?” It was wonderful. The contestants were very talented. The audience were very excited. They all had a good night.” Stephanie said. “The contestants will all be stars in the future. I am sure.” Setphanie asked Gavin, “What do you think of my performance tonight?” “Great! Confident, calm and interested. And how did you become a presenter?” Gavin asked. Stephanie answered, “When I was 17 years old. I went to a drama university. The teacher realized that I am good at speaking. So I become a TV presenter.” “Ok! Have a good time!” “Thank you. Goodbye!” “Bye!”
