Charlotte's Web is an award-winning children's novel by acclaimed American author E. B. White. It is about a pig named Wilbur who is saved from being slaughtered by an intelligent spider named Charlotte. The book was first published in 1952, with illustrations by Garth Williams.

The novel tells the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages praising Wilbur (such as 'Some Pig') in her web in order to persuade the farmer to let him live.

Charlotte's back

 

Charlotte gave birth to many spiders before she went to heaven. Every spiders went to all kinds of places, and they all started their own future.

On the other side, one sunny afternoon, Wilbur got up early. 'It's time for breakfast,little spiders!' Voice just fell, three small spiders embraced each other, as hungry as bears. At this time, Templeton came sadly, and Wilbur said comfortingly, 'what's the matter with you, my good friend?' 'Wilbur, I went to visit the dead Charlotte this morning. I Miss Charlotte so much,' cried Templeton.

At this time, Ames, the smallest spider, asked, 'who is Charlotte? Is she a spider, too? Is she still alive? ' The biggest spider Ocalvin also asked, 'yes, you say every day of Charlotte, who is she?' Wilbur thought, ‘Oh no! What should I do? What should I do?’ 'Well, she's a spider,' said Wilbur. 'She's my friend.' 'Then she must be our mother, and she's still alive, isn't she, uncle Wilbur?' Ocaven said. Wilbur stammered, 'she's your mother. She's still alive. But she's far away. ' 'All right!' 'But we'll wait for mom to come back,' Ames said. 'Nobody can change that!' Okawin said definitely. Everyone nodded and smiled.

On one side of the sky, the angel gave Charlotte a new life. It has become a spider called 'Lu' again.

After a few weeks, farmer Mr. Zuckerman came back in a big truck. 'Fern! I'm back! ' Cried Mr Zuckerman. 'Dad! You are back. What good things did you bring me? ' 'A lot. You'll know when you come here.' The laughter of their father and daughter faded away.

'When will our mother come back?' Asked Ames. 'Er...' Wilbur said incoherently, 'she I'll be right back. '

'Is there anyone?'

Everyone looks in the direction of the sound His eyes were fixed on a small spider. 'Hello! My name is Lu. '

”Hi Hello! 'Greetings from three little spiders.' Did you see our mother? ' 'Where are you from?' 'How did you get here?'

'Wait a minute, boys. Don't ask so fast.' Said Templeton. 'Lu, how did you get here?' 'I It's from the big truck. ' Wilbur said, 'it looks like this little guy is quiet, very similar to Charlotte...' 'Why do you talk about Charlotte again? Let's get to know our farm first Said Templeton.

 

Lu looks around with his friends, everything is so familiar. Lu climbed up where Charlotte used to weave, and began to weave skillfully and quietly. Wilbur was surprised, 'Charlotte Ah no, Lu, how can you weave a net here? '

 

'I, I don't know. I just want to weave,’ Lu whispered, 'here it feels familiar. ' Wilbur felt it was amazing, and then Templeton took Lu to get to know the farm.

 

Two weeks later...

 

'Lulu! Come and play the tennis match! ' Orcavin and Ames asked little spider Dew to play the ball game. 'No way!’ 'Today is my birthday, I Want to live on the farm! ' After a while, Lu faltered and uttered a word.

 

'Of course! Your birthday is June 24? ' Asked Wilbur. 'Yes, today.' Lu replied. Wilbur thought, Charlotte's birthday is today too .Is Lu Charlotte?

 

Everyone is very happy. 'Happy Birthday! Happy birthday!' 'We have good food again!'

 

Why is everything about Lu so similar to Charlotte? Weaving, birthday, character...Wilbur was lost in thought...

 

That night, Templeton and some of the farm animals brought delicious food. They had a good evening.

 

'Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you...'

 

In the middle of the night, everyone went to sleep. Wilbur couldn't sleep It's still thinking about Charlotte.

 

'Hiss -' who is it? Wilbur heard the sound in the pigsty and went out to see

 

Lu is weaving a net! 'Happy Birthday' is written on the net.

 

Wilbur was shocked. He believed more in his own ideas.

 

Lu seems to have found Wilbur. 'Why don't you sleep?' Lu asked.

 

'I can't sleep... Can I tell you one thing? ' Asked Wilbur.

 

'Of course!' Lu replied happily. Wilbur has felt the tenderness and kindness of Charlotte.

 

'I think you are very much like a friend of mine. She is gentle and kind. Very considerate... ' Wilbur's voice is getting smaller in the moonlight... It's settled, Lou - it's Charlotte.

 

That night's moonlight was very bright. The white light shone on Charlotte's net. Everything in the grassland, pool and farm became white and gloss. Everyone seems to be saying 'Happy Birthday' to Charlotte and Lu.
