A lesson from the zoo trip

Last week, I went to the wildlife zoo with my parents. We packed everything  and  departed very early in the morning.

To our surprise, there were already a lot of people when we arrived. My dad was in a long queue to get the ticket. When he collected all the ID cards from us. I found that I didn’t take my card. It means that I couldn’t go into the zoo to see the animals. I was so sad that my tears went down from my eyes.

 My dad came to me. I was a bit of  afraid that he would blame me. I was surprised again because he didn’t blame me. He said that he could go back to help me to take the card. I was not that sad. Mum and I waited for Dad ’s coming back.

After a while, Dad was back. There was not a long queue. We soon got the tickets and entered into the zoo as we expected. We saw many amazing animals, such as tigers, elephants, koalas and  lions. I also saw a fantastic  sea lion show. Before our leaving, I fed the lovely giraffes with leaves. 

What an unforgettable  trip. I not only saw many animals, but also learned an important lesson.  I will be more careful in the future.
