The Game

 (pupil，skate，taxi)

     Today is Tuesday. The pupils are skating. Suddenly it began to rain. They ran in the classroom. For a while,they did nothing. Then the teacher advised that they play a game called “How many pupils come by /on …?”

    First, the teacher told them how to play and then she asked: “How many pupils come by taxi ?” Twenty children raised their hands.

    Next, the teacher asked :”How many pupils come by bus ?” Six children raised their hands.

    Finally, as the teacher was about to ask : “How many pupils come by … ?” The rain stopped and all of the children ran out and skated, left the teacher alone in the empty classroom.
