A.M. and P.M. (timetable, sandwich, silly)

Because of the coronavirus, Cindy had to study alone at home. Mum made a timetable to remind her to do things on time, and prepared all kinds of food for Cindy’s breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cindy got up in the morning. She took the sandwich for breakfast and she was full.

In the evening, when Mum came home, Cindy said loudly, ”Mum, why don’t you prepare dinner for me? I ‘m hungry!”  “En?  I remember I have prepared a sandwich for your dinner.” Mum said.  “Sandwich?  I ate it for breakfast, according to your timetable.” Cindy said. “Aha! You should take egg, milk and sandwich for dinner. I think you made a mistake when you read the timetable.” Mum said. ”Oh, how silly I am! I made a mistake about a.m. and p.m.!”
