                             My Favorite Character in the Book Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone

Harry Potter series are very famous in the world. There are 7 books in Harry Potter series. Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone is the first book. Now, let me tell you about my favorite character in this book.

My favorite character in Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone is Harry Potter. He was a thin boy who wore a pair of old glasses and had a scar shaped, liked a streak of lighting on his forehead. But why do I like him best? Here are some of my reasons about it.

First, Harry Potter was very brave. For example, when he and Malfoy met a ghost drinking a unicorn’s blood in the forbidden forest, Malfoy ran away as fast as he could, leaving Harry behind. But although Harry was very scared, too. He stayed there and faced the ghost himself. Also, when he faced Lord Voldemort, the villain who killed Harry’s parents, the worst wizard ever, he didn’t run away like the other students. He chose to stay and fought against him. What a brave boy Harry was.

 Second, Harry Potter was very persistent. When he found out that Nicole Flamel, an wizard who could make the Sorcerer’s stone, he began to look for books about him and the stone. Although there are many books in the library and Harry didn’t find anything. Harry still kept finding no matter what difficulties he faced. And also, when Harry was looking for the stone in the school dungeon, he faced many difficulties such as giant plants that would tangle the people who passed; giant chess that would kill you if you lose. Harry’s two friends were all gone. But Harry kept on moving to the room where Lord Voldemort and his helper were.

That’s all my reasons for why Harry was my favorite character.
