                                     Thoughts on reading Who was Michael Jackson

     In the summer vacation, I read some English books, my favorite book is called <Who was Michael Jackson>. It is about Michael Jackson’s life.

Who was Michael Jackson? He was a popular singer and a great philanthropist. Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana in 1958. Both of Michael Jackson’ parents had always loved music. Music was a big part of family life. So, when Michael Jackson was a child, he liked music , too. Although he lived in a small house, but he had some big dreams. He was very hard working, so he got a lot of success. For example, he won eight Grammy Awards. Although he got many difficulties, but he still had big dreams.

Michael Jackson was a kind man, In 1985, Michael Jackson wrote a song with Lionel Richie called “We are the world”. The song was written for charity. Most of the money from the record sales would be used to help starving people in the African countries of Ethiopia and Sudan. And he bought some toys for the children and gave the money who need help.

Michael Jackson was a superstar in the world. Everyone likes him. We need to learn from him, have big dreams, be hard working, have a kind heart, and help the people who need help.

This is a great book. It teaches me many things. I like it.
