                                                    A Reading Report of The Stone Cutter

The Stone Cutter is a book which tells a story of a poor stone cutter. In the book, the stone cutter was greedy. He always wanted to get more and more power. Also, he had a superpower which could make him become everything he wanted to be. And in this kind of condition, he became a number of roles - rich man, emperor, sun, cloud, wind, rock, and stone cutter. Everything he turned into was thought to be more powerful. But at last, the greedy ones always get their retribution. He turned into a poor stone cutter again!

Although the book is a picture book, it still tells us a very deep truth - as the sentence I wrote in the first paragraph - ‘The greedy ones always get their retribution.’ In fact, many people in real life are as greedy as the stone cutter. They always want to get more and more power even though they don’t have any superpower. In order to satisfy their desires, they tried their best to evade taxes and they even start stealing or robbing. These kinds of people have only one end - get into the jail.

So, after reading this book, please put your lusts away and face everything in your life with smile. Trust me, this will make our society better and better!
