Dear David,

I’m glad to see your letter. How’s everything going on? Have you planned where to go during the holiday?

Well, I plan to go to Beijing with my family on the holiday for five days. You know, Beijing combines culture with modernization so it attracts trillions of tourists every year.

Therefore, I want to visit some great tourist attractions there, such as the Temple of Heave, Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City.

Among these, the one I prefer to go most is the Forbidden City. As you know, it’s been the emperors’ palace for more than 600 years! It must be amazing to know about the history and culture inside and I can’t wait to go!
