Dear Lily,

I am glad to hear that you are going to Beijing soon. I would like to share some information about Summer Palace with you.

Summer Palace is a wonderful place with a long history. The construction time of it is Qing Dynasty. It is not only traditional but also the biggest royal garden in China. And the most famous Empress Dowager Cixi lived there, so it was filled with all sorts of jewellery in it .

Summer Palace is also a place filled with interesting activities, such as : sightseeing, boating, flying kites and taking a walk …. And in winter, you can go skating and play ice hockey. I bet you will have a lovely day there!
