The Lazy Tom (tidy, neighbour, fix)

Once upon a time, there was a lazy man named Tom. Tom lived in a house made of wood. But he didn’t like to tidy his room. So his room was messy and dirty.

One day, neighbour Tim came and said, ”Tom, your walls are rotted by termites, come to fix it!” Tom said, ” Not today. I want to play the phone games. I’ll fix it tomorrow.” The next day, the neighbour said, “Take pesticides to kill the termites! Or, walls will fall down very soon!” Tom said, “Not today. I will go to sleep! go away! I will fix it tomorrow.”

A few days later, Tom went to fix it. But the walls were about to fall. It was too late! The Tom’s house collapsed. Poor Tom!

This story tells us everyone makes mistakes, but only smart ones are open-minded for advice.
